For Dr. Jakubas, nurturing strong relationships is as important as maintaining healthy teeth.

She enjoys hearing about her patients’ families and being a part of their lives. She believes in community service and gives of her time and expertise through mentoring dental students and volunteering at the the annual “Give Kids a Smile Day” held in early February.

Dr. Jakubas graduated from the University of Minnesota’s Dental School in 1987 and began her private practice the following year. She continues to update her skills through additional training in endodontics, implants and cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Jakubas is a member of the Seattle Study Club (SSC), an organization of practicing dental professionals with worldwide membership. Sponsored by the Academy of General Dentistry, the SCC serves as a hub, tying dentists together through satellite clubs to study specific topics and explore new procedures. Dr. Jakubas is a member of the City of Lakes satellite club. She has dedicated her twenty years in private practice to preventative dental care, working closely with her staff to educate patients about the relationship between healthy teeth and gums and better overall health.
