Meet Dr. Joan Jakubas

For Dr. Joan M. Jakubas, nurturing strong relationships is as important as maintaining healthy teeth. She takes an avid interest in her patients’ lives and health. In turn, she and her team of dental professionals work hard to find the best solutions for their patients' individual dental care needs.

Dr. Jakubas graduated from the University of Minnesota’s Dental School in 1987. She began private practice a year later. She stays on top of the latest trends in dental specialties through post-graduate programs and study groups, ensuring patients receive the best treatment for endodontics, implants and cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Jakubas is currently participating in a three-year Post-Graduate Program in Esthetic Dentistry at the University of Minnesota. She works closely with her staff to educate patients about the relationship between healthy oral care and better overall health.

A firm believer in giving back to the community, Dr. Jakbuas donates her time and expertise twice a year to Project Homeless Connect. She also volunteers her services on an annual basis to Give Kids a Smile. Most recently she has committed to working with the Ronald McDonald Dental Van.
